The Diablo 4 “Fun Police” at It Again?
Diablo 4’s latest update disabled a bugged ability that allowed players to Diablo 4 items deal absurd amounts of damage. On one hand, it makes sense—nobody wants a game-breaking exploit to ruin the challenge. But on the other, Blizzard has a history of nerfing anything that makes players too powerful, even when it’s fun.
It seems like every time we find a powerful build, Blizzard patches it out instead of embracing creative playstyles. Why not turn this bug into a legit feature? Maybe introduce a seasonal modifier that lets players experiment with high-damage mechanics? Instead, they just shut it down immediately.
What’s frustrating is that fixing this was a priority, while other major game issues—like itemization and mob density—are still being ignored. It feels like Blizzard only acts fast when it benefits them, not the players. Would it really have hurt the game if they D4 Materials for Sale left it in for a bit?
